FLS – Flexible Conduit System The KRASO FLS is a flexible conduit system designed as a protective cable duct for gas- and watertight connections to KRASO cable entry systems. It is built for high mechanical stress and withstands an overpressure of up to 4.0 or 3.0 bar and a vacuum pressure of 0.7 or 0.5 bar. The smooth inner coating ensures gentle cable insertion, while the smooth outer surface provides optimal sealing. The conduit features increased pressure and vacuum resistance, high axial strength, and excellent resistance to alkalis, acids, brine, and seawater. It is also UV- and ozone-resistant, as well as gas- and liquid-tight. The material complies with the RoHS directive restricting hazardous substances. Its construction consists of a hard PVC spiral embedded within the conduit wall, with the spiral made of hard PVC and the wall of soft PVC. The inner coating is made of abrasion-resistant, Teflon-like soft PVC. The KRASO FLS is weather- and temperature-resistant within a range of -15°C to 60°C, with an optimal installation temperature between +5°C and 50°C.
