In der Infrastruktur und insbesondere im konstruktiven Ingenieurbau werden spezielle Anforderungen an Kabelschutzrohre hinsichtlich Dichtheit und Stand-festigkeit gestellt. Die Prüfkriterien für Kabelschutzrohre sind maßgeblich in der DIN EN 61386-24 festgelegt. HEKAPLUS-Kabelschutzrohre aus PE-HD erfüllen diese Vorgaben und gewährleisten aufgrund der Mindestdruckfestigkeit von F ≥ 750 N eine dauerhafte Nutzung.

Nach DIN EN ISO 9969 wird eine Mindestringsteifigkeit von S ≥ 10,0 kN/m² erreicht. Mit neu entwickelten Spezialdichtringen wird bei HEKAPLUS-Kabelschutzrohren eine Systemdichtheit bis zu 0,5 bar bei Außen- und Innendruckbelastung in der Rohrverbindung erreicht. Dies wurde u. a. mit einer „Außendruckprüfung" in einer Druckkammer und Prüfkriterien in Anlehnung an die DIN EN ISO 13259 nachgewiesen (vormals DIN EN 1277). Damit werden die besonderen bautechnischen Vorgaben z. B. für einen Betoneinbau im konstruktiven Ingenieurbau oder im Tunnelbau nach VDE 0100-520 erfüllt.
